Although I am reminded of the aspects of teaching that I did not miss during the past two years, it has been wonderful to be teaching again. I love setting the tone of the room and encouraging participants to discuss. I am looking for ways to be creative with the curriculum. I love taking risks and forcing myself to adapt to new situations.
I am in the process of resetting for the rest of the year. This involves planning projects that will take me into next year. I’m keen to get things moving, but at the same time, I really value my downtime here. It is marvelous to have time to read, play piano, exercise, and just think. I am quite aware how quickly time is passing this year. My goal is to be able to look back on this year and see some real goals accomplished.
